Privacy Policy

Introduction

DazzleAppz (“DazzleAppz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile software applications and related services (our “Apps”), and operates the website at https://www.dazzleappz.com (the “Site”). Together, the Apps and the Site are our “Services.”

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Services. It applies to end users and visitors, unless a separate policy applies to a specific product and we state that clearly in that product.

Free and paid use. Some of our Apps are free to download and use; we may also offer paid features. Whether an App is free or paid does not change how this policy applies unless we tell you otherwise in that App.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Services.

Relationship to our terms

Words used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service or End User License Agreement for the App or Service you use, as published on https://www.dazzleappz.com (or the legal link shown in the App Store or Google Play listing for that product), unless this policy defines them differently.

Information we collect and how we use it

Information you provide

  • If you contact us (for example, by email to info@dazzleappz.com or through a form on the Site), we receive what you send, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message, so we can respond.
  • We use this information only to communicate with you about support, product updates you have asked for, and related business purposes.

Information collected automatically in our Apps and Services

  • Depending on the App, we or our service providers may collect device and technical information and diagnostics (for example, app version, device model, operating system, language, crash logs, and performance data) to operate, secure, and improve the App, troubleshoot errors, and understand aggregate usage. Some of this may be associated with a device or app installation identifier, not your name, unless you have identified yourself to us in connection with the same use (e.g., support).
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties and we do not use it for third-party marketing unrelated to our Services, except as described in this policy (for example, advertising in Apps that use ad networks—see “Third-party services, advertising, and analytics” below).

Information stored on your device

  • Many of our Apps are designed so that task, timer, and productivity content you create stays on your device unless a feature (such as a cloud or integration) explicitly syncs it elsewhere. What stays local depends on the specific App; see that App’s description and in-app settings.

Third-party services, advertising, and analytics

Our Services may use third-party software development kits (SDKs) and services. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies. Examples include:

  • Google AdMob — If an App shows ads, AdMob may process device, ad interaction, and related data to show and measure ads. How Google uses data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (Firebase / Google Analytics) — To understand app usage, engagement, and stability (for example, crash reporting and analytics), often at an aggregated or pseudonymous level. See Firebase: Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not control all processing by these third parties. We choose providers we believe are industry-standard, but you should read their policies if you want detail on their practices.

Ads. Where an App uses AdMob or other ad services, the ad provider may use identifiers and activity data to deliver and measure advertising. You may be able to limit ad tracking through your device settings (for example, “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android) and the choices offered by the ad provider.

Analytics and crash reporting. We use this information to keep our Apps running reliably and to improve them—not to sell your personal data.

Log and diagnostic data

When you use an App, if an error, crash, or similar event occurs, we (or a third party such as Firebase) may receive log or diagnostic data that can include, for example:

  • Device internet protocol (“IP”) address
  • Device name or model, operating system version, and app version
  • Time and date of the event, and other technical statistics

We use this information to diagnose and fix issues and to improve performance and security.

Cookies and similar technologies (Site and in-app)

Website. The Site may use cookies or similar technologies (such as local storage) that we or our third-party services set for security, session management, or basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Refusing some cookies may limit certain Site features.

Mobile Apps. Our Apps are not web browsers, but they may use technologies that function similarly to cookies (for example, local storage, SDKs, or software identifiers). Third-party SDKs we use (such as AdMob or Firebase) may collect information in line with the providers’ policies, as described above.

Service providers

We may share information with vendors and contractors that help us host the Site, deliver email, run analytics, process crash reports, show ads, or perform other work on our behalf. They are not allowed to use your personal information for their own marketing unrelated to our instructions, and are expected to use appropriate safeguards. They may, however, use aggregated or de-identified data for their own product improvement, where allowed by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Services may contain links to third-party sites (for example, in help articles) or may connect to third-party services (such as task or calendar integrations you choose in an App). We do not control those sites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Please read their policies before you use them.

Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to the processing of data without parental permission). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group for those Services. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@dazzleappz.com and we will take appropriate steps, which may include deletion of that information, where we can reasonably do so.

International users

We may process and store information in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection rules than your country. Where we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers (such as standard contractual clauses), we do so in line with applicable law.

U.S. state privacy rights (summary)

If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to correct or delete certain personal information, to opt out of certain processing (including “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, where those terms apply), and to appeal a decision we make about a request. We do not sell your personal information for money. To exercise these rights, contact info@dazzleappz.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on the Site and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide a clearer notice (for example, a notice in the App or on the Site). Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires your explicit consent for certain changes.
